Hyderabad, Aug 23: India were 307 for five at stumps on day one of the first cricket Test against New Zealand at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here Thursday.

 

Cheteswhar Pujara and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni were batting on 119 and 29 as 87 overs were bowled through the day.

Left-arm pacer Trent Boult took two wickets, including the prized one of Sachin Tendulkar (19).
